Created by Nicole Murray (now vice president of Women’s design at Express) in 1998, “NM70 drew its inspirations from the worlds of music, film and retro athletics. The line was designed at the time to fill a void in the footwear market’s “lack of cool shoes” and to fit Nicole’s personal style of NYC street chic. Check out a pair from 1999 above!
